bestest thing!

Last week I got my shirt from Valerie of Dear Birthday and it is such a thing of beauty! This lady will put any handma(i)de(n) to shame--the details are truly amazing. Yes, I've harped on this before, but I will harp again. The attention to detail--wow! I'm sharing a photo of me in it...sort of blurry and taken in a mirror, so my apologies, but can you behold it's loveliness???? oops, forgot to smile :)

ps--necklace courtesy of Pashupatina, too!

the shirt is so beautiful! i'd imagine you'd get a lot of use out of it. i've sort of begun reading your blog pretty frequently now. it's really great and you've introduced me to a good number of things. so thank you,
take it easy,
kristen

ps: i caught the new postings a little too late, but i'll get me a sweater! i'm determined! haha! but really, it was a wonderful batch! i feel you have an equal attention to detail as valerie from dear birthday does. both of you are very inspiring and talented!

i just found your site through a random google search for bolero tops and all i can say is "wow!" i am so impressed with your creativity and ingenuity. i will definitely keep an eye on your site for new additions!
can you also recommend any other designers who work with reused materials? i am really interested in this concept... i'm in d.c. and i guess it hasn't really gotten much exposure here yet.

thanks so much!

hi anonymous who was asking about recycled materials in clothing--I with i had your email address so i could respond to you directly...anyhoo, i like browsing the makers at the online store cut+paste (http://www.cutxpaste.com). some use recycled, and there's tons of links to websites...hope this helps!
