Still can't shake the cold/flu thing that has been making my head hurt daily, as well as just knocking the wind outta me. At least the weather has been wonderful here in cali (!) as opposed to the chilliness that I've heard the East Coast has been experiencing lately. I feel for you out there, I do...

Rose Deniz Handbags is based in Turkey and was started by an American gal who relocated and had the vision to create a small business model that would employ fairly-paid Turkish women to sew and design stylish handbags using local materials. I really love her focus on local labor and think ya'll should check it out.

Curious Bird is a one-woman bag and accessory designer who also sells hand-picked vintage, sweet little owl-shaped pillows, and lovely little fabric shadowbox collages.

Based in Germany, Frau Liebe is another vintage purveyor and handmaker. I love her little clutch bags, totes, and wristcuffs like the blue and white ones here...it's all in the details!
