*dendrite*!

I have TWO blogs now...

It hadda happen--today i started a whole new separate blog entitled *dendrite* and powered via moveable type! I am SOOOO excited! i realized that this anti-factory blog, while great and fun, isn't exactly covering all the bases of my interests. coupled with my new familiarity with the movable type publishing platform, it just begged to be treated as a place i could download my brain into and serve as a research and storage area for future projects and subject matters.

So today i spent three hours just rummaging into my favorite internet places and indexing and entering them into fun little categories, replete with basic info, links, etc. Word of warning: if you choose to visit, *dendrite* is not my "commentary blog"--you won't find any little personal anecdotes or even any context as to why they are a part of my interest. All content on *dendrite* is rampantly copied and linked to other sources. there is no original material (mine) there, and i make no claim to it. i have my own personal logic of inclusion and i want to make it sort of fun for both myself and any outsiders who stumble across it to figure out patterns, connections, etc.

Subjects may be part of past or future research papers, curatorial projects, essays, and artworks. They are loosely collected around issues of what I call "localized resistance" and "vernacular creativity"--the stuff that happens at the margins of sanctioned production and consumption. culture is a hardy thing, and even under what seems like pressing and suffocating circumstances, can generate amazing individualized actions.
