Memory
goes fuzzy with distance and time--I tried to remember the furniture,
placement of objects, and floorplans of all my bedrooms since
becoming sexually active. Laying out these drawings in a conference
room at an office building that I worked in, my "private"
life could, technically, be subjected to scrutiny in a "public"
and professional setting. With all the specific naughty bits of
what exactly had/has happened in these bedrooms left out, the
viewer is left to speculate on the significance of these rooms.
A small placard placed discretely in the corner labels the dates
and duration of my residency at each room.
Many
business meetings were subsequently held in the room, with some
people presuming that they were floorplans for future projects
to be carried out by the company.
